What Causes Whiplash?

Whiplash is most commonly caused by car accidents.

Even low-speed collisions—as little as 5 mph—can create enough force to rapidly jerk the neck and spine, leading to injury. This sudden motion can strain muscles, ligaments, discs, and joints, even if the accident seems minor at first.

Common Whiplash Injuries:
